stands for One Xmas Item a Month & is hosted by Narelle every month.
It's a great way to have lots of "gifts" on hand all ready come December.
I don't know how I would manage without this little monthly get together to keep me motivated.
You can click HeRe to see what other elves make as gifts.
I have added the instructions to my sidebar... under Christmas Gifts...& they are FREE.
The instructions are generic as I wanted you to be able to use ANY jar you had on hand.
I used an old glass "coffee" jar & a "milk bottle" type.
The instructions will work on any shape & size of jar or bottle.
Just a little measuring is needed. Click HeRe to print out the free PDF.
Anyways... I hope you EnJoY making my Christmas Treats Jar Cover.
This time my thread is one colour... ha ha... & it's a pretty grEEn one.
I've also added my version of the FREE instructions from The Family Hearth blog... to my sidebar.
Just look under CRaFtY... or click HeRe.
Nothing dramatic changed... I just tweaked the instructions to suit me. EnJoY making a few... as they are very addictive...
It's only the startof February... & I've only been home 1 day... but my monthly challenge is complete... albeit a quick, easy & small project... but a few more are on the agenda for sure!
I've had the FREE pin cushion instructions written up for ages.
It's from a blog called The Family Hearth... HeRe... or at https://thefamilyhearth.com.
I had quite a lot of scraps left on my sewing table... so I decided to make one using some of them. Much more FuN than actually sorting scraps...
Of course it was after I FiNisHeD the pin cushion that I realised that the "thread" should be one colour... ooppsss... so My spool has multi coloured thread on it... ha ha.. problem solved!
This week I will add the FREE instructions to my sidebar under CRaFTy ITeMs so I can find it again...
is on this FriDay... February 2nd. Can you believe it's a NeW month already.

My "Flower" pouch is finished...& I'm really HaPPy with it too.
The original pattern can be found HeRe. It's FREE & easy to follow although I did make a few small changes. The pouch finishes at 10 1/2 inch x 6 1/2 inch x 3 1/2 inch base with a zip closed top.
I bookmarked the pattern ages ago & finally got around to making it this month for my BMP challenge.

Last week I sent a Lap Size quilt that I made... together with 5 of the larger blankets that were donated to the Blankets of Love project to Ronald MacDonald House. This charity house is situated in the grounds of The John Hunter Hospital here in Newcastle NSW.
They were very much appreciated too.💕
